J. D. Strachan Construction Limited completed restoration to the exterior of several heritage buildings throughout the site.  We also completed interior restoration to the Printer’s Shop. Our work to some of the structures included restoration of the historic sashes. We also successfully completed restoration to two major barns on the property. Our work included shoring and installation of new structural elements, replacement of sections of logs, re-chinking of one log building and re-roofing with cedar shingles.  Each project was completed while the village was in full operation.
